Product Details

London Duck Tour
Jump aboard a London Duck Tour, a piece of British history, and experience the thrill of driving from the road straight into the Thames!

The London Duck Tour is much more than just a sightseeing tour, it's a unique and exciting experience appealing to visitors of all ages.

A Duck Tour is a totally unique way to see the sights of London. You are rewarded not only with a live guided road tour of the City of Westminster, passing landmarks such as Trafalgar Square, the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, but you are also treated to an unforgettable trip on the river, without ever leaving the comfort of your seat!  All this on an historic vehicle used for the D-day landings in 1944.

The London Eye
The EDF Energy London Eye offers breathtaking views of London from high above the River Thames. See Big Ben towering above the Houses of Parliament, follow St. James Park as it sweeps down to Buckingham Palace. Is the Queen at home? You’ll spot the flag flying if she is.  A Standard Ticket Experience on the London Eye lasts for approximately 30 minutes, the time it takes for the London Eye to revolve completely. Relax in one of the 32 high-tech glass capsules and enjoy the London skyline at your leisure.

EDF Energy London Eye 4D
The London Eye 4D is a groundbreaking 3D film with in theatre effects, such as wind, bubbles and mist, to make the 4D.  The film itself is a touching story of a little girl in London with her father. Her view of famous London landmarks is obscured by people and traffic, but a seagull draws her attention to the London Eye and her father takes her for a visit; finally she has an amazing view of the city. Colourful parties inside the capsule, time lapse of the London Eye day and night and a spectacular firework display all add up to an emotional and entertaining experience; the perfect prelude to a visit to the London Eye itself.

All standard ticket guests wishing to see the 4D Experience would need to join the 4D entrance queue in County Hall with their tickets 45 minutes prior to their London Eye required time.  The 4D experience lasts approximately 15 minutes.

EDF Energy London In-Capsule Experience
The EDF Energy London Eye have now added a brand new in-capsule experience which will be available to all guests who visit London’s most iconic landmark. The London Eye’s capsules are now complete with state of the art Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 devices, displaying photos and information created exclusively for the London Eye.  Features include key information on landmarks that can be seen from the London Eye as well as a 3D view of each sight.  Innovative, 360 degree non-stop-24-hour filming has granted the EDF Energy London Eye and its guests the first ever multi-dimensional views of the spectacular sights of the capital.

Eggsellent Easter at the EDF Energy London Eye - Friday 31st March to Sunday 15th April
This Easter, the EDF Energy London Eye is inviting guests to London’s most iconic landmark to join in the fun with this year’s free* on-site Easter arts and crafts activities.

From Friday 6th to Monday 9th April, families can don their creative caps and get involved in the London Eye’s Easter activities.

Children can get busy with a number of crafts from decorating papier mache eggs, Easter animal masks, flowers or chicks. A host of arts materials and a splash of imagination will ensure the Easter creations are brought to life to be taken home and cherished as Easter keepsakes.

In addition, families can join in the ultimate egg decorating egg-stravaganza at the EDF Energy London Eye. Five giant white eggs will be installed on the London Eye’s landscape from Friday 31st March to Sunday 15th April when everyone will be invited to take part in transforming them into egg-stravagant and colourful Easter eggs.

Route Changes
When special events/road closures divert the usual Classic Sightseeing Tour away from the Westminster route, the City Tour will usually apply.

9th May. State Opening of Parliament: Many of the roads we normally use will be closed.  However, when roads close we are pleased to offer our City Tour of London featuring some of the Capital's most iconic landmarks such as St Paul's Cathedral, Tower Bridge and the Houses of Parliament; the river trip is unaffected.
10th May. Police Federation March & Rally. Some of the roads we normally use will be closed from early morning to late afternoon. However, when roads close, we are pleased to offer our City Tour of London featuring some of the Capital's most iconic landmarks such as St Paul's Cathedral, Tower Bridge and the Houses of Parliament; the river trip is unaffected. We will operate our City Tour when roads close and run Classic Sightseeing tours once roads re-open subject to road conditions. We expect roads to remain closed until approximately 17.00 but these timings can change on the day.
27th May. Bupa 10,000: Some roads in Westminster and the City will be temporarily closed for this annual road race.  However, during this time, we are pleased to offer a revised City Tour of London featuring some of the capital’s most iconic sights including Houses of Parliament, St Paul’s Cathedral (viewed from Waterloo Bridge), Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast, MI5, MI6, Tate Britain, Fleet Street & Imperial War Museum. Please note the river trip is unaffected.  Race organisers believe roads will re-open at approximately 13.30 and we will resume our Classic Sightseeing Tours as soon as road conditions permit.  River trip unaffected.
