Admission to St Paul's Cathedral (cathedral floor, crypt & galleries)IPod touch multimedia guide
Filming and photography is not allowed inside the cathedral and we ask visitors not to use their mobile phones. Photography is however allowed from the exterior Galleries (Stone and Golden Galleries) which offer fantastic 360° panoramic views of London.
St Paul’s Cathedral is a working church and special services or events may sometimes close all or part of the cathedral - please check before your visit.
The IPod touch multimedia guide is included and offered to all individual visitors. It is available in 11 languages and provides up to 90 minutes of self guided content.
Please note that savings are calculated from the attraction's advertised gate rate.
Please noteAs part of a review into how cathedral users enter, explore, and exit the cathedral building during sightseeing hours, the Crypt door at street level on the NW corner of St Paul’s will be exit only for the period 29th June to 29th August.
This will mean that over this trial period the toilets, shop and café, which are usually accessible in the un-ticketed western end of the Crypt, will only be accessible to cathedral sightseers who have already entered the Cathedral.
We envisage the only impact being for guides and group leaders who may usually like to use the Crypt toilets before entering the Cathedral at the main West end entrance. Over this trial period they should either amend their route and first enter the Cathedral at the main West end entrance before heading down to the Crypt toilets during the visit, or use alternative external toilets before arriving at the Cathedral.
Great value! Great value and got to skip the queue straight to the front!
Lots to see and learn and the whispering tour is a great treat.
A great tour around an iconic landmark.
ST PAUL'S BRILLIANT
Enjoyed It was easy to exchange for the ticket.I joined the guided tour, was lucky to be in a small group.
St Great A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE FULL VALUE FOR MONEY ACTUALLY SPENT MORE TIME IN THERE THAN PLANNED EVEN GOT TO THE VERY TOP OH THOSE STIRS TERRIFIC VIEWS RECOMMEND IT.
St Paul's What a majestic place this is. Well organised and good value for money. No problem with our ticket on entry and we were soon in receipt of a free audio iPod tour. There is an adult and children version. You also have a free children's activity book to complete together with a free pencil. Under the Dome there is a seating area and members of the clergy appear from time to time and talk to the visitors and pray. I thought they were really welcoming and not at all off putting. Saying the Lord's Prayer under the beauty of the dome's frescos was special. As well as the church you can visit the galleries and crypt. There are lots of steps to the galleries although I did see a lift perhaps to the Whispering Gallery? The view from the top Golden Gallery was super. In the Crypt there is Christopher Wren's simple grave and seeing Nelson's and Wellington's grand final resting places was particularly poignant in this 200th anniversary year of the Battle of Waterloo.
Walked straight in A beautiful place, well worth the visit and kept our 6 year old interested. No queues for entering. Again, smooth purchase process.
St pauls We had a fabulous day. St Paul's was breathtaking. A really inspiring place to visit, full of stunning architecture, magnificent views, and steeped in history. Not to be missed.
One of our best visits in London An inspiring building, with excellent audio guide. I visited St Paul's as a school child and realise now that I didn't see anything. The dome paintings, mosaics and crypt are particularly impressive. Would recommend to anyone although the climb to the galleries is difficult for any with mobility issues.
Views Amazing views from top of St Paul's after a very long climb up stairs. Do not attempt unless you are reasonably fit and have no knee pain!!
Breathtaking It is difficult to find words to describe this building - it is simply magnificent and should be a 'must do' if visiting London. The audio guides were comprehensive and informative. The paintings in the interior are quite simply breathtaking and it is worth climbing to the first level to the famous 'Whispering Gallery'. We didn't go to the higher levels because of the number of steps involved! This did not detract from our visit in any way though. The crypt was also interesting with the Duke of Wellington, Lord Nelson and Millais buried there.

Well worth the money A great value pair of London sights to see.
The tower bridge exhibition was far more interesting than we anticipated. The history of the bridge and it's architecture as well as a look at the engine rooms.
St Paul's was fascinating and the audio guide very useful. A climb up 160+ steps to the whispering gallery was worth the climb and for those with a real head for heights further steps led to two more platforms (both outdoor) giving amazing views of London.
Something Different So we went to London for the day and wanted something different to do. Took the Tower Bridge tour first which was excellent, very friendly and informative staff, great views especially from the glass walkway. St Paul's cathedral is fascinating with loads of history. The walk up the dome is not for the feint hearted but so worth all those steps for the views.
Surprise view Even though I expected to have a good view from the climb up to the dome it surpassed my expectations. Not one but three different viewing galleries although the last one up some very narrow spiral stairs is not for everyone. Inside the Cathedral itself we spent a good hour with the audio guide and again it is all you would expect. We did this on a Saturday afternoon. The tower Bridge was a Sunday afternoon trip after the Tower of London. Really enjoyed the walk over the glass floor looking down onto the road, my husband found the engineering part of it enjoyable spending a bit of time in the engine room. Good value for money this one and the staff were really helpful.
St Paul's cathedral & tower bridge Tickets arrived by email within an hour of booking.
Great value for money.
Skipped queues at both venues for immediate entry.
Tower bridge was a really interesting exhibition great fun walking across the glass walkway.
St Paul's is such a beautiful building , fantastic audio tour very informative.
We climbed to the whispering gallery as then to the outside balcony , fabulous views !
On the whole a really good day out.
Awesome Tours I am so in awe with the details of St. Paul's Cathedral interiors and the story behind it... it was such a very good learning experience and the astonishing skyline from the top of its gallery is just amazing.
We had great time with Tower Bridge... its historical story, how it was built and the genius men behind it... being there and learning the story was beyond explainable... it was awesome.
AMAZING DAY Absolutely fantastic. The tour was very enlightening and professional. My husband and I walked up to the top viewing tour. So much to see and worth every penny.
Two great attractions Was great to get a look in the most famous bridge in the world. The view from the walkway was worth the visit. St Pauls is the most beautiful building. We took the 500+ steps to the top (not easy with a 6 and 4 year old)But the adventure and the views were amazing. A choir was singing when we arrived which just made the visit.
Great value for money My partner and I visited Tower Bridge and St.Paul's having purchased tickets online in advance. Still had to join the queue at Tower Bridge as there was no provision for advance tickets holders to be allowed priority entrance. Not a big problem as we arrived early morning so not long to wait. Very interesting seeing the old steam engines and an excellent view of the Thames and surrounding areas of the city from the walkways. At St.Paul's there was a long queue but advance ticket holders were given priority. Fantastic building and the climb up the steps to the whispering gallery and to the dome was well worth the exertion! Unfortunately there was a huge queue to go up to the golden gallery so we gave that a miss. All in all good value for money.

St Paul's Cathedral & Clipper Day Out Hi really enjoyed my day out on the Thames on the Clipper, very easy to access and pleasant time on the water. I was able to hop off near St Paul's Cathedral, only a short walk. I had been outside the Cathedral before but never inside. Wow! what a beautiful church and the history in these walls was amazing! Definitely go back and have another look.
wonderful Wonderful experience and worth it :) :)
good combination Good pack. I was expecting there will be some dome excursion included but there was not.
Anyway, normal admission for discount price is always worth it ;)
Tower of London & St Paul's Cathedral Awesome! Thanks guys. Was easy to just go straight to the gate. Also checked a few other sites first and found your site was the best value for money for us.
Cultural day out Had a brilliant day out seeing 2 great tourist attractions in London.
Both Tower of London & St Pauls were brilliant places 2 see. With plenty of information to take in.
Yeoman of the Guard told the history of the Tower of London well with humour and plenty of dates to remember.
We found it a bit hard to squeeze both attractions into 1 day.
So would suggest arrival at Tower of London for opening time as this is the longest attraction time wise.
Had an amazing day - thanks to discount london The booking process was easy and ticket collections at both the venues were convenient. The cathedral and Tower of London both are great reflections of British history and architecture. Climbing up the stairs to the stone and the golden gallery is a must in St. Paul's cathedral. The queue at crown jewels in Tower of London may be a little annoying at times but once you are in, its a different world. Overall memorable day and loved it.
What a great day I had not expected to find enough of interest in the Tower to keep me there for 3 hours but what a great morning. This followed by St Paul's which I found interesting, and although I am not religious, the audio commentary with some religious aspects was uplifting. All topped off with an excellent afternoon tea in the crypt. Great day out!
This was reallly great!!!! It was a great experience and really worth seeing: very interesting history, special things to see and wonderful for visitors. The guide was very funny at the tower and both, the tower and the cathedral are very special. My daughter loved seeing all the details.
Crown Jewels and Heavenly views Our hotel has iMacs in each room, so were able to print out confirmations to lobby concierge desk. Hotel not thrilled about it as they use Evan Evans tours. (Saved 1 pound even though hotel had discount for senior rate, 1 adult, 1 senior). Got to Tower of London about 930, and went straight to the Crown Jewels. BEST TIME TO GO!!! NO LINES, AND WERE ABLE TO WALK AROUND FOOTBRIDGE BY CONVEYOR BELT TO REPEAT SLIDING PAST CROWN JEWELS SEVERAL TIMES!!! By the time we got out of the Crown Jewels, and walked the North Wall, the line filled the courtyard and went down the side of the White Tower. Even the Dungeon had started building a line. Had a GLUTEN FREE LUNCH at Wagamama just outside the Tower of London. St Paul's Cathedral was next, and if you can take the exercise, the views in the Whispering Gallery, and the two levels above and outside the dome are absolutely a highlight of any visit!!! Not to mention the impressive architecture and up close and personal views of the paintings adorning the inside of the inner dome. If you go all the way to the very top, you will find out why when looking up from the cathedral floor it appears something at the center of the upper dome occasionally seems to glimmer. A full day, and we only caught the highlights.
Tower of London and Sf Paul's Cathedral Pre order of tickets meant no queue at the Tower - excellent. Beefeater tour was brilliant and the whole experience was very good. Food in cafe was good and not overpriced.
St Paul's - no queue again which was good. Audio sets a little hard to manage to start with but got the hang of them eventually. Lovely to have the choir singing during our tour.
Three Cheers - Enjoyed Tower of London and St. Paul Cathedral. Very convenient. Did not have to wait in queues. Would recommend to all. A little planning in advance makes your tour more enjoyable. Especially enjoyed St. Paul's Cathedral. Cathedral is very impressive. Lot of History and the Audio tour was excellent. Climbed 526 steps to Golden Gallery for stunning views of the city.
Easy booking, great time, flexible Site was easy to use and gave great felexibility in options for attractions. I did the Tower on Friday and St Paul's on the Saturday which meant we didn't need to rush through either tour. WIll definitely be using again.
Tower of London and St Paul's Cathedral. Bought tickets online once in London, printed off tickets at a friends (this was the only hassle). Would be great if they accepted smart phone downloads.
Thoroughly enjoyed visit and would recommend.
St Paul's Cathedral, a must do with audio. Amazing what you look at but don't see until it is pointed out. Again straight through with our printed vouchers and no time wasted queuing up.

Our day trip Great guides on the 2 buses we travelled on - informative and funny. Plus the river tour guide was very good. We loved St Paul's even though afraid of heights! the steps were a challenge as was the vertigo.
