The Wizard of OZ (Carlisle)

Follow the Yellow Brick Road for an amazing pantomime version of The Wizard of Oz, with one Britain's Got Talent winner, another Britain's Got Talent semi-finalist, one UK Eurovision star and our CFM favourite!

Join Kansas farm-girl Dorothy and her pet dog Toto on this magical adventure suitable for all ages. Watch in amazement as they are picked up by a tornado and carried off to the magical Land of Oz. With help from their new friends the Munchkins, they travel to the Emerald City where the great Wizard of Oz lives. On their way they meet a Scarecrow who needs a brain, a Tin Man who wants a heart, and a Cowardly Lion who desperately needs courage.

When Ashleigh Butler first auditioned for Britain's Got Talent with her dog Pudsey, Simon Cowell declared "This is what I've been waiting for all my life. You are one of my favourite ever acts". Now Ashleigh, and her 'Crufts Agility Champion' dog Sully, will be off to see The Wizard as Dorothy and Toto - there's literally no stopping Ashleigh and her super dogs!

Nicki French, originally a Carlisle girl! Nicki is so proud to be a part of this year's pantomime. She is best-known for her dance track "Total Eclipse of the Heart", which topped charts around the world in 1995, and in 2000 she represented the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest with "Don't Play that Song Again" - Now she prepares to cause pain and suffering as 'The Wicked Witch of the West' this Christmas.

Andrew Fleming returns for his third pantomime in Carlisle. He auditioned for Britain's Got Talent in 2015, and received four yeses - making his way right through to the semi-final! A gifted mimic, strong vocalist and intuitive character actor, Andrew is a little 'tense' to take to the stage as 'The Tin-Man'.

CFM's breakfast presenter, and pantomime favourite Robbie Dee returns for his 17th year. This year Robbie needs a new brain, as he will be playing 'The Scarecrow'.

Come and join in the fun over the rainbow in "The Regions BIGGEST Christmas Show", a wonderful pantomime version of L. Frank Baum's much-loved fairy tale.
