Wedding anniversary

We where not sure how this trip would go , as there was no one to ask who had been on this trip. Therefore it came as more than a plessent surprise during the whole course of the journey that both Sue and I enjoyed it so much to such an extent we have told all our friends what a great trip this was. Is was an excellent journey. Kindest regards William & Sue king

And all that Jazz

The grey weather did not stop our excited family from enjoying this cruise. The symphony itself and table layout was very attractive. The initial staff who were dressed in white, could smile more but our french waiter was very polite and good with my children, although I regretted having 3 soft drinks which cost a ridiculous amount of money! However, the food was truly excellent. I love Jazz and at first we could not hear the group as much as we would have liked but they were good and the singer sung one of my favourite Ella Fitzgerald songs, 'A foggy day in London town' (ha ha). He also dedicated the song to me as my children asked him to and he had a nice voice. Cruising through the bridges, especially Tower Bridge was exciting. Our waiter remembered that it was my birthday and bought over a sparkler in a glass that was fun, while the band sang Happy Birthday. This cruise is a wonderful treat and my children and I highly recommend it.

Excellent trip and amazing food

Would definitely recommend this trip. The food was lovely and the boat was very nice. Had a seat in the middle but still had good view. This is not a trip if you want commentary but the music was great entertainment. 3 hours flew by.

A gentle way to travel

Four of us did the Jazz Cruise last Christmas and enjoyed it so much that we decided to do it again this year. We were not disappointed; the staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive and the food extremely enjoyable. Jazz played quietly in the background and it was a real pleasure to enjoy the lunch as the London skyline slipped by.

Perfect day out for a Celebration

I normally do not do reviews on websites, but must say that our experience must be shared with others and it would be selfish not to do so. My husband was having his 50th birthday and we wanted something special to celebrate with children and grandparents for the afternoon. We chose the Bateaux London and were very lucky to have a stunning summer's day in November when we sailed. The whole ambience from the jazz musicians to the waiting staff was engaged and upbeat, friendly, calm and efficient. It felt a privilege to be included on what must be one of London's best kept secrets. Having a glass of sparkling in one hand and the Thames revealing London great and small at the same time on the elegant boat- coupled with live jazz playing - was one of the most rewarding days out in London we have had for many years. An hour and a half was perfectly timed for serving the food, allowing enough time in between courses for taking photos and watching London at its best. The food was all excellent - I am Gluten Free and when I told our waitress, I really did not expect much, but she was fantastic. Organised the first course to have replacement breads which was delicious and indeed had the chef make me an off menu special of vegetable risotto which was lovely. Our two teenage boys were ready to have a boring day out with family, but at the end of it all, my thirteen year old put his arm around me and with a smile said "must admit, that was a really great day out". Well done to all involved with Bateaux London! Our world class city finally has a world class way to enjoy it!

Amazing experience, highly recommended

The trip was a true delight, from the food, the setting, the views and the live band. We were seated on the back of the boat with a window view, unfortunately we did not see the band but the singer would come to the back of the boat during the trip which was very nice. Overall very organised, lovely staff and great views of London. Can't recommend it enough for a special celebration.

A great afternoon out

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The food was very good as was the live jazz. We were lucky to have a window seat and it was a very enjoyable way to see a lot of the sights along the Thames from a unique perspective.
