A very Pleasant Way to spend a Sunday Lunchtime Alan R, 07/03/2017 (Mature Adults)We boarded the Symphony at approx. 12:40 and the boat departed at 13:00 as advertised, our trip took us a far as the O2 Arena. During the trip we were served a 3 course Sunday lunch, the quality of the food was excellent and the waiting staff were extremely attentive. The musicians and singer were also very good.
The Symphony is an ideal sightseeing boat as it has glass sides and in the section we sat in a glass room. This meant that we had excellent views but also presented the one negative of the experience as the sun shining through the glass roof made it very warm on board (we could really open any of the sliding doors as the outside temperature was quite low). However this would not put us off booking another trip or recommending the trip to our friends.
One final note is that it was cheaper to book through Discount London than it was to booked directly with Bateaux directly.
Symphony Cruiser ., 19/07/2016 It was a perfect day.
The weather was excellent as was the service on the boat.
The food and jazz group were also very good, really enjoyed the whole experience.
Ours was a party of eight celebrating a big birthday and I would recommend this cruise for any special occasion.
fabulous! golden oldies, 10/05/2016 (Senior Adults)We booked the Sunday lunch Jazz cruise as an 80th birthday gift for our friend. We were a little apprehensive as to how it would be but WOW it exceeded all expectations. Not only did the sun shine but the table settings, very smart staff and the jazz band were all superb. The food was good too, so all in all it was a fabulous experience, well done everyone concerned.Look forward to doing it all again.
Great lunch with beautiful views JazzFan, 15/09/2015 (Mature Adults)We had a great time on the Sunday Jazz lunch cruise - the food was fabulous and served by very professional, friendly waiters. The jazz band played very well and they added to a great ambiance and a very enjoyable 3 hours. We had lovely weather which made the sights along the Thames even more beautiful. Thanks for a lovely time!!
Excellent Trip Janie, 18/08/2015 (Mature Adults)The service and food waste was great, so was the jazz band. Combined with the boat trip it was an excellent day. Highly recommend this trip, well worth the money.
FABULOUS HelenT, 17/07/2015 (Mature Adults)Went with friends to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I have previously been on a midweek lunch cruise.
Everything was so organised, all ran like clockwork. Lovely meal, with a choice of starter and main course;reasonably priced drinks (you are in a city). It was so lovely on a sunny day, cruising down the river with live music playing. I would thoroughly recommend this cruise and the regular lunch cruise.
Wedding anniversary Likely lad, 07/07/2015 (Senior Adults)We where not sure how this trip would go , as there was no one to ask who had been on this trip.
Therefore it came as more than a plessent surprise during the whole course of the journey that both Sue and I enjoyed it so much to such an extent we have told all our friends what a great trip this was.
Is was an excellent journey.

And all that Jazz JJ, 29/04/2015 (Family with young children)The grey weather did not stop our excited family from enjoying this cruise. The symphony itself and table layout was very attractive. The initial staff who were dressed in white, could smile more but our french waiter was very polite and good with my children, although I regretted having 3 soft drinks which cost a ridiculous amount of money! However, the food was truly excellent. I love Jazz and at first we could not hear the group as much as we would have liked but they were good and the singer sung one of my favourite Ella Fitzgerald songs, 'A foggy day in London town' (ha ha). He also dedicated the song to me as my children asked him to and he had a nice voice. Cruising through the bridges, especially Tower Bridge was exciting. Our waiter remembered that it was my birthday and bought over a sparkler in a glass that was fun, while the band sang Happy Birthday.
This cruise is a wonderful treat and my children and I highly recommend it.
Excellent trip and amazing food Woody550, 07/04/2015 (Mature Adults)Would definitely recommend this trip.
The food was lovely and the boat was very nice. Had a seat in the middle but still had good view.
This is not a trip if you want commentary but the music was great entertainment.
3 hours flew by.
A gentle way to travel mikes, 23/12/2014 (Senior Adults)Four of us did the Jazz Cruise last Christmas and enjoyed it so much that we decided to do it again this year. We were not disappointed; the staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive and the food extremely enjoyable. Jazz played quietly in the background and it was a real pleasure to enjoy the lunch as the London skyline slipped by.
