Informative Cat, 07/08/2017 (Mature Adults)Definitely would go again. The tour even though it only lasted 30 mins was just the right length of time and very worthwhile. As I discovered on my visit, some times they are rehearsing a play. This was amazing as I wasn't able to get tickets to a play in the time I was in London. The guide was very funny and knew how to keep his audience entertained, even with all of the different languages in the group. Thank you for an amazing morning before I went home.
The Globe Sozwin, 21/07/2014 (Family with teenagers)My 15 year old and his Grandma really enjoyed the tour and museum. While they were waiting for the tour to start they were able to look at some of the costumes, which passed the time. It was a bonus that they were able to see a rehearsal taking place. Would recommend for all age groups.
Please note: Tours begin every 30 minutes during opening hours.
There is no access to the theatre during matinee performances. Visitors will be taken to the nearby archeological site of the Rose, Bankside's first playhouse.
Rehearsals will also take place throughout the year. Please note that access to the Globe Theatre may be restricted.
