Spend an afternoon on the river while indulging in a leisurely City Cruises afternoon tea cruise. Enjoy a fresh selection of cakes, sandwiches and scones served with lashings of cream and jam. Sit back, relax and sample a limitless supply of tea on a cruise that is an ideal end to a busy day of sightseeing or shopping in London.
A Thames afternoon tea cruise provides an elegant setting for a light bite to eat in a refined, sophisticated atmosphere. Take a break from the frantic pace of city life and set sail with good friends and great food while taking a unique look at some of the Capital's most famous landmarks.
Unwind in the company of Big Ben, St Paul's Cathedral and Tower Bridge as you sail right through the heart of the Capital on-board a vessel with giant panoramic windows and an open air observation deck offering unobstructed 360 Degree views of the city.

excellent experience nicedayout, 20/06/2016 (Family with teenagers)Very nice sandwiches and pretty little cakes! Everything is delicious, and staff are friendly, walking around to offer tea and coffee all the time. The view from the top is fantastic. I'll definitely go again!
Excellent value for money cruise NP, 02/06/2016 (Young Adults)I booked this cruise for some family vising from America. They wanted to do something touristy but relaxed, this was the perfect trip. the tour lasts 90 minutes and is relaxing, interesting and delicious. Excellent service, excellent afternoon tea, perfect for families with young children too. Will return with mine soon.
Afternoon tea on the river Kim, 31/05/2016 (Family with teenagers)This is a firm favourite with our family and a lovely way to see London. I would definitely recommend this option over a standard cruise, where you seem to be packed in like sardines. On the afternoon tea cruise you have an allocated table, a great afternoon tea which you can make even more memorable with a glass of fizz and plenty of space for all. When you've had enough to eat you can go on the deck and get a better view of the sights without the crowds of the other boat tours. A must for a trip to London and I will be planning my fifth trip with the girls this time very soon!
Excellent Value Shaun, 08/04/2016 (Family with young children)we all visit London with trepidation about the cost and value. Can honestly say the staff were excellent, the afternoon tea was both fresh and varied and the commentary on the river was excellent. Highly recommended.
Lovely experience Sharon, 23/02/2016 This was the second activity that I booked through Discount London and again it was a brilliant trip.
It was a little choppy on the river, however the boat was large and we hardly felt it once moving. The afternoon tea was lovely with plenty for each person and unlimited tea or coffee.
You see most of the sights along the river in both directions.
The staff on the boat were very friendly and ensured our comfort at all times.
Would definitely recommend this cruise and booking with Discount London.
I recommend the cruise with afternoon tea Kathy, 01/02/2016 The Thames cruise with afternoon tea was absolutely fantastic. Everyone was so helpful and the food was delicious. The boat was amazing, with windows all around so you can get good views with a good commentary. My daughter absolutely loved it too. I am so glad I bought this and would go again. I thoroughly recommend this trip.
A great xmas present. Julie, 14/12/2015 (Mature Adults)I took my 3 sisters on the afternoon tea cruise.it was a lovely treat. We all had a great time. The staff were very cheerful, and always at hand to serve us with tea or coffee. The cakes and sandwiches were delicious. I would recommend City Cruises to my friends. Thank you all.
Just Great! BBanks, 14/12/2015 (Young Adults)We had afternoon tea on the River Cruise, which was 2 great things combined, the Afternoon Tea was yummy and lovely and fresh, the cakes and sandwiches were all very nice, the service was great, and we were asked frequently if we wanted Tea or coffee.
The actual tour was great yesterday you get to see all the great London sites, the only one thing I can say is you can't hear the commentary, mainly due to people enjoying their food / talking with friends.
You can go up on top of the boat which we didn't realise at first but glad we found out in time to enjoy the fresh air and sights of London we got some great photos.
We definitely recommend this trip, it was great.
Lovely cruise! Millsy, 30/11/2015 (Mature Adults)An enjoyable afternoon cruise (even though the weather was wet and windy!) -we enjoyed sandwiches, cakes and scones whilst looking at the London/River Thames scenery from the warmth and comfort of the boat. The waitress/waiter service was also very good.
Afternoon Tea on the Thames with City Cruises Maggie, 29/11/2015 (Senior Adults)Absolutely brilliant. Lovely tea and a great trip down The Thames to Westminster Palace and back to Tower Pier, trip back went further just short of Deptford on the south side of the river.
Staff on board were great. Very courteous and professional.
Would definitely recommend to family and friends.
