I took my young granddaughter for a birthday treat, we both had a wonderful time, had a window seat, staff were lovely, food was nice & fresh, Great value for money, a memory for us both

Not one for cruising but decided after many visits to London to do the afternoon tea cruise. Was very pleasantly surprised at just how good the cruise was, afternoon tea was very good value for money and staff did all they could to make sure that the whole thing was an "experience"

Lovely way to spend an afternoon

Well organised afternoon. Shown to our seats and quickly served our tea and coffee. Our food arrived soon after. A good selection of sandwiches, small cakes and a scone with jam and cream. Cups topped up regularly and a choice of other drinks available at the pay bar. Time to go up top on the boat and take in the views. All in all a lovely way to spend the afternoon.

Well worth it

Honestly the best present I could have bought my 6 year old. Family of 4 had a lovely time on Sunday. Plenty of food/drink and the staff were friendly. Sun was shining which was a bonus. Couldn't have asked for a better day!

Great Afternoon

Booked the tickets the day before and got confirmation within hours. 5 adults. Arrived at the boat at 3 where our tickets where checked and names ticked off the list. Proceeded onto the dock where we saw the boat pull up. Our tickets where checked once more then we boarded the boat and escorted to our seats. We had 2 at the window, 2 in the middle and 1 in the isle. The food was delish my favourite where the scones with jam and cream, plenty of food to fill you up with unlimited tea and coffee with the option of purchasing wine, beer or soft drinks. After the afternoon tea we popped up to the top to take in the views where smoking and vaping is permitted. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Highly recommend this trip!!

A pleasant afternoon of the Thames

I found Discount London after a google search. The process of booking was very simple and I received confirmation and voucher within a few hours. The afternoon tea cruise was a very pleasant way of spending a few hours. There were no problems with the voucher and booking. The staff at City Cruises were very attentive and friendly. The afternoon tea was lovely and our table was situated at the front of the boat. We couldn't have asked for better weather and the views along the Thames were spectacular. I would thoroughly recommend.

Great afternoon treat

From the warm greeting to the cheery goodbye the whole trip was a real treat. The boat was beautifully presented, the staff were extremely efficient and most importantly the food was delicious. Plenty to sate our appetites. Our tea cups never ran dry and every time they were refilled with hot tea. The cherry on the top was the ever changing views of London seeing familiar sights from a different view and new sights.

I booked this for a birthday treat and it was perfect...! The afternoon tea was lovely..., and the staff were very helpful taking our dietary needs into consideration. The crew on board and waiting staff were attentive and professional. I have recommended this day out on the river to friends. I will definitely be booking with you again. Many thanks to everyone for making our day a special one.

Was good for kids
Ash, 16/04/2018 (Family with young children)
My two children and myself where on this cruise during the Easter school holidays, the kids had fun as they where able to eat plenty of treats like cakes, also as my children do not drink tea, they where offered hot chocolate which was nice, as the weather was a little cloudy at the time. My only suggestion would be that they offer a scone without raisins inside, as one of my daughters and myself included had to pick them all out, which was a bit messy for us, maybe have one raisin and one plain? Other than that we enjoyed looking at the views(there aren't any large tables next to the window, so groups of 3+ will be in the middle) and also liked that there was some brief history given over the speaker. You can also spend some time on the upper deck outside so you can have better views and opportunities for photos. Boat was modern and clean and the staff where very friendly and attentive. Price was reasonable too, would book again.
