Product Details

The London Dungeon - 28 - 34 Tooley Street, London, SE1 2SZ

Transport yourself back to the darkest moments in the capital’s history within the deep depths of the London Dungeon. Live actors, shows, rides and interactive special effects ensure that you face your fears head on in this unique experience. Everything that you see is based on real historical events from Jack the Ripper, to the Great Fire of London, torture and the plague. With two scary rides the London Dungeon provides a thrilling and fun experience that will leave your family screaming for more! Ninety minutes of thrills and chills… are you brave enough?

The legendary attraction with a unique talent for uncovering history’s horrible bits lifts the lid on some of the brutal practices of medicine’s blood splattered past, as Tooley Street’s blundering 18th century butcher-surgeon opens the doors to his filthy make-shift operating room. Full of fresh body parts, rusty blood encrusted surgical instruments, puss-ridden bandages, dog eared anatomical diagrams and the discarded or partially dissected corpses of previous patients, this is a dark, dismal and decidedly dangerous place.

As guests gather to witness some of the toe curling therapies commonly used in the days before anaesthetic, antiseptic and patient’s charters, the menacing surgeon selects his next patient and straps them securely in to his “state of the art” treatment chair to showcase his skills. For those who emerge unscathed there’s a whole dungeon full of frightening fun. From the Victorian stomping ground of Jack the Ripper to Sweeney Todd’s hair-raising barber shop, a hanging inspired drop ride and with plenty of twisted humour, blood, gore and more in between, there’s centuries of history’s horrible bits to discover.

Vengeance: the UK’s first 5D Laser Ride (included in the ticket price)
An entirely new, super sensory, adrenaline-charged, ride was unleashed at the London Dungeon on 28th May 2011 – Vengeance: the UK’s first 5D Laser Ride.

Taking scare to a whole new level, this technologically groundbreaking 5D ride is a full scale assault on the senses. Guests will be transported to a Séance set in Victorian times at 50 Berkeley Square, alleged to be the most haunted house in London at the time.  Here riders will come face to face with one of the most famous and feared mediums of the age, Florence Cook, who will take them on the ultimate ghost hunt in a high octane battle of skill, speed and nerve.

Completely disorientated in the dark and spinning at high speeds, riders will shoot it out with twisted, vengeful spirits, whilst facing their full destructive force. This is definitely not a ride for the faint hearted and wusses should take the ‘escape door’ option!

Tower Bridge Exhibition - Tower Bridge, London
The Tower Bridge Exhibition is the award-winning attraction inside the bridge. The bridge opens to allow river traffic through 900 times a year, another spectacle not to be missed! The original Victorian Engine Rooms demonstrate how the historic bridge was run when it first opened over 100 years ago.
