  • "Nice"

"It was nice the bus hop on/hop off. Including a river cruise-trip to London Tower bridge. For us it 's sometimes hard to find the bus stops. Nice drivers and helpful hosts."

  • "Must do changing guard walking tour and boat cruise!"

"We booked the original open bus tour thinking we could pick up the tickets anywhere and jump on a bus near our hotel, instead we had to travel to Trafalgar Square to get them which we were frustrated with at first. when we got there a walking tour to the changing of the guard was just about to start so we tagged along - our original plan was to jump on the bus to Buckingham palace and watch it there- The tour was great we saw horse guard parade, the guards leaving the mews, and Clarence House and loads more planned to see well recommended. After lunch we did the bus tour getting off at the Tower of London and then got the boat trip along the Thames back to Westminster. The added extras of the walking tour and the cruise made it worth the money. "

  • "Excellent"

"The whole tour was excellent. Commentary was exceptionally good. A map of the visitors centre to collect the tickets could have been clearer. But all in all a great experience."

  • "Recommend bus with live guide"

"We picked up our discounted tickets from the office in Trafalgar Square with no problems and then got a bus within a few minutes, the live guide was a real bonus. The 48 hour ticket was very good value for money and the next day we took the river cruise from pier near Big Ben to Tower of London, crew on boat also did live tour which was entertaining! Next time we just need to stay an extra night as so much to do and see."

  • "Loved the open top bus tour "

"We really enjoyed this tour, even though we were unable to complete it as there was a protest march on and the travel was terrible. When we return we will definitely do this tour again it's worth the money. We did get a free river Thames cruise but time didn't allow us to do it."

  • "Very enjoyable!"

"Made full use of the 24 hours free feature of our bus tickets. We went from one end of the city to the other and back, on and off, and it made things so easy. Also got another perspective from the boat trip to Westminster. Will do the Greenwich side next time. Excellent service and great commentary - we all picked up handy details to remember! "

  • "London from above"

"We took the T1 full trip, obviously at the wrong time of day, the traffic was truly awful (2pm to 4.30pm), however we did not let this spoil our enjoyment. The children enjoyed seeing the sights of London and our guide was very informative. If you are travelling with children I would recommend you travel just after the morning rush."

  • "London Discount Experiences"

"On a recent visit to the UK, we booked tickets through Discount London for the Original Tour + River Cruise, Madame Tussauds, London Eye and the Tower Bridge Exhibition. We had a wonderful experience. Your staff at the Original London Visitor Centre in Trafalgar were absolutely amazing. The guides on the Open Bus Tour were very knowledgeable and very courteous. Entry to all the attractions were a breeze and we experienced no hick-ups. Thank you for contributing to a fabulous holiday. You can be certain that we will look no further than Discount London for future bookings."

  • "Value for money"

"We all really enjoyed the day, found office easily at Trafalgar Square in order to exchange voucher for tickets. Managed to do 2 entire routes (blue and yellow ) without being rushed and also river cruise. Great way to see a lot in a day and to choose where you would like to stay longer, secure in the knowledge that buses come along all the time. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, suitable for all ages and doesn't matter whether you've been to London before or not."

  • "Enjoyable and informative"

"I spent a very enjoyable day touring on your open-top buses and on a cruise boat up the Thames. Well, most of the day: The bus arrived at the initial pick-up point near Trafalgar Square due, apparently, to the enormous amount of road works all around central London. Fortunately the bus did start to pick up some time as we headed away from the West End toward the City. The recorded commentary told me a lot about the area I didn't know and I enjoyed hopping on and off the bus to investigate some places further. Just one possible error in the commentary - although I may have misheard - I think it said that parts of 'Titanic' were filmed in the tearoom of The Waldorf Hotel. If it was referring to the 1997 'Titanic' with Leo DiCaprio, that would be incorrect. However, a 1978 TV movie called 'SOS Titanic' with David Janssen did indeed use The Waldorf for locations. I was unable to complete the entire route but I hope to do so one day. I have recommended it to friends and family, especially my son who hopes to take his partner and their four-year-old son on a tour of London soon."

  • "Brilliant!"

"Great way to learn about London. First time we've used buses and not tube to get around London. There's so much to see. Got our tickets, then planned our 2 days. Was particularly good value as it was 48 hrs for the price of 24. Suited both our age groups."
