If an evening of terrific entertainment, a first class dining experience and spectacular views of the River Thames, its stunning bridges and the impressive, illuminated skyline of Canary Wharf, is your idea of a good night out – all for around the same price as a stalls theatre ticket - then check out the London Showboat. You won't be disappointed.
During a round trip from Westminster Pier to the Thames Barrier and back, lasting over three hours, guests are treated to a selection of songs (predominantly, though not exclusively, from the musicals) performed by a live singer. This soundtrack helps create a relaxed ambience on the boat and I found myself swaying to the music while gazing out of the window at the glistening and glowing buildings along the riverside, and the splashes of colour reflected in the water.
The food was delicious and excellent value for money. In addition to four, well presented, courses each diner was also served piping coffee or tea and a half a bottle of house wine (or a choice from a selection of alternative drinks) within the ticket price. The table service was exceptional and, as a vegetarian, I found that my requirements were well catered for.
The whole experience was delightful, and I’ll certainly be soaking up the dreamy atmosphere of the London Showboat again during my next visit to the capital.

Had a very enjoyable evening on the show boat dinner cruise on Sunday 10th August. Well organised, attentive staff, well prepared and plentiful food with decent entertainment throughout the evening. Reasonable value for what was provided.

Had a really good night the food was excellent staff were great helpful and always there will use again.
The artist was very good and was only spoilt by the children stealing the show felt sorry for her think it should be an adults only thing.
London Showboat dinner cruise

My party of four had a wonderful evening to be met at the door with a glass of champagne, followed by and excellent four course meal. All the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The lady entertaining us for the evening had a great voice and sang from a variety of musical shows. I would strongly recommend anyone who likes and lovely meal whilst being entertained visiting London takes this showboat dinner cruise.
Company 35 years celebrations

We travelled to London to celebrate the fact that we have been trading for 35 years, also we had some staff celebrations , "0" birhtdays, a 40,50 & 60 and a long service of 20years with the company. After a flight on the London Eye and a few drinks in a nearby bar we boarded the showboat to be welcomed by very courteuos staff and a welcome glass of fizz! The boat was very comfortable and our party of 16 were seated in a central group of 4 tables of four which worked out well. The food was of a very good standard and presented nicely by the waiting staff who were very friendly and helpful. The singer was OK but her voice was a bit weak so she wasn't able to do justice to the songs in her set.
The only negative thing about the evening was that the toilets stopped flushing by about ten o'clock and also there was no water to wash your hands in the washrooms from ten o'clock so I think this need to be investigated as the boat wasn't full on this occasion so can't imagine what it would be like with a full boat.
Cruise and Dine

Booked for 4 Adults online did not no quite what to expect but reviews looked OK. When we arrived at the pier a Guide told us where to stand for our boat we waited about 10 mins then boarded the boat. We were greeted by very nice staff and offered a glass of champagne and shown to our table for the evening.Once we had set sail the food started to arrive, all four course were of very good quality nicely cooked and well presented, followed by tea or coffee and mints, a very nice young lady sang some songs which was just nice not to loud so people could chat and enjoy the moment. There was plenty of time between courses to go up on top deck to take pictures of the London scenery. We sailed down to the Thames barrier then sailed back again,by this time it was getting dark and to see London all lit up at night was quite breathtaking to say the least.Back downstairs the singing and dancing had begun and everybody was having a good time.In my opinion the whole evening which in total was just over 4hrs was good value, the staff on board could not do enough for you and were all very helpful and polite.I would most certainly recommend this trip to anybody specially if you want to see London at night.
Thames Cruise

An absolutely fabulous evening. I have been visiting London this time of year for the past 6 years. Normally as part of our weekend trip, me and friends from my choir, see a West End show on the Saturday evening before our all day rehearsal/performance at the Royal Albert Hall on the Sunday. For a change, I suggested this idea, a Thames cruise whilst eating an outstanding 4 course meal, including wine and live entertainment. We had a great time, everyone was friendly, food delicious, staff accommodating and the whole evening worth every penny. Definitely go again.

Our river cruise was a a fun filled, value for money package. From the glass of bubbly with a thoroughly tasty, well cooked quality meal while cruising down the river watching the sights and entertained with songs from west end shows. The evening was a hit from start to finish, wonderful photographs taken from the top deck and we had time for a dance. Five ***** for this cruise with London Showboat and well recommended .
Nice evening

We thoroughly enjoyed this river cruise. The singer was very good. Boat was spotlessly clean. When we went to get on we were a bit confused as to whereabouts we should go as there were no signs on the embankment pointing us to "the London showboat cruise" and when the boat arrived it was actually called something else. The dress code that was specified on booking was not adhered to by many people, in fact some of the passengers were downright scruffy, which was a shame for others. Especially as all the staff were immaculately turned out. We did have to ask staff for our bottles of wine that were included with the meal, but all in all very nice evening.
