I booked a weekend away in London to surprise my husband for his 65th birthday, his brother & wife joined us also. We had booked a show for the Saturday but trying to think of what to do Friday evening, then I saw the show boat advert. We all said it was 1 of the best nights ever, we could not fault anything about the evening. The staff could not do enough for you, there was champagne on arrival a 4 course meal and a bottle of wine of your choice per couple, and finished with coffee. There is a bar for any other drinks as well. The meal was out of this world, you waited quite a while between each course, but it was needed so you could watch and listen to the live music. all 4 of us said that it was 1 of the best nights ever and worth every penny spent.

I booked the showboat river cruise for myself and my daughter after reading all the great reviews - we were not disappointed!!
The staff were brilliant from start to finish, the 4 course meal was lovely with generous portions and it was all topped off with a boogie on the dance floor!! We would thoroughly recommend this trip, the only negative we had was that it seemed to finish too early! An extra hour would've been perfect as we had such a great time!!

This was just the perfect end to our stay in London. The night time cruise along the Thames certainly gave us a different perspective as it got dark and all the lights came on bathing the Thames in a soft glow of the different colours from the nearly buildings and attractions, such as the London Eye. It was lovely passing under Tower Bridge all lit up. The food on the cruise was lovely and the staff were so pleasant. The Young lady who entertained us with her singing, as well as pointing out places of interest along the cruise, was delightful. All in all we had a fantastic evening and we are very glad we chose to do this.

The last time we were in London we were unable to do this Dinner Cruise so this time we made sure we did and we weren't disappointed, the boat departed at 7.45pm prompt and the entertainer sang a few songs and pointed out places of interest as we went up stream then we turned and headed to Greenwich. The starter was already at the table, followed by soup, the main meal of chicken then desert, we couldn't fault the food or service it was very smoothly carried out, the staff came round with cocktails then spirits and they made sure you were never without a drink. On our return from Greenwich we stopped and watched a fire work display which was for the Tall Ships that were still on the river, Tower Bridge looked fantastic all lit up and the views along the river with all the builds lit up looked great. If you get a change to do this trip take the opportunity to do it, you will be glad you did, we booked in advance via "Discount London" and took advantage of the discounts available as we did with other trips the last time we stayed. Gratuities, wait until you are leaving the boat if you want to tip them not as i did to the waitress you won't feel embarrassed as i did just passing them by.

My friend and I have just returned to Guernsey after a great weekend in London and on Saturday evening we enjoyed our fourth London Showboat, yes we love these evening so much we have done this Cruise four years in a row. Absolutely brilliant evening from start to finish. Food delicious, waiting staff very friendly and helpful, entertainment very professional. The singer was the same young lady we had last year and she is very entertaining, friendly with the guests and certainly got us all on the dance floor. Once again I cant praise this London Showboat Dinner Cruise enough and I can guarantee we will be back again next August 2016 bank holiday weekend.
