An Excellent Day Out Gezzer, 17/05/2018 (Family with young children)this was a perfect day out with a 12 year old grandchild and her friend. The voucher arrangement was very easy; the kiosk to exchange for tickets is near the Tower entrance. We went on a Tuesday which was a good day as it was not crowded. We started with a 60 minute guided tour with a very interesting and entertaining Beefeater - highly recommend you start with that tour as he gave a very informative background to the history of the tower, particularly the gory bits!! We also would highly recommend the twice daily re-enactment play; we watched a 40 minute production of Anne Boleyn's last week in the tower. It was brilliantly acted and actually a very moving experience. Of course we saw the crown jewels, the white tower and we walked the battlements. The food facilities are excellent; high quality food at sensible prices. A very good day out.
Brilliant Day Out Roxy, 07/10/2017 (Family with adult children)Information on the Confirmation was helpful. The ticket booth were great and the staff at the tower were excellent! Guide books are available at £4.99 which I think is particularly reasonable if not quite cheap for London! My mum wanted to visit for her birthday and really enjoyed her day out. Thank you to everyone who made the visitors feel welcomed and were so helpful.
Tower of London Alina, 05/10/2017 (Young Adults)It is an ancient castle and imposing fortress. Definitely, you can spend all day visiting the large wards, towers, real chambers, and dungeons. You can see the typical Queen's Guard, the Crown Jewels, the famous Yeoman warders and the six ravens. Everything is organized and well signalized. Bathrooms, restaurants, and a souvenir shop are available. By booking the ticket through Discount London I was able to skip the queues at the entrance and pay less than the full price of the ticket.
