Lovely Treat

We had a great time on this trip along the Thames, and enjoyed an excellent afternoon tea with fresh scones and clotted cream, a good selection of sandwiches and a lovely selection of small cakes. There was ample to eat and endless top ups of teaor coffee - there was also the option to purchase bubbly and cocktails if you want to slash out! Great commentary along the way - we learned quite a lot about the way the river used to be utilised and the buildings along the banks. Great value for money and I would recommend it as a superb way to spend an afternoon whilst in London

Staff were very helpful, nothing too much trouble. Really impressed with the food, yummy. They even catered for one of our party that has a gluten free diet. They brought her out her own plate of sandwiches and four different pieces of cake. Would highly recommend this trip.
What a way to celebrate

This was a special day for me, my 8oth birthday. I couldn't have chosen a better way to keep it. Crew and staff team were very helpful and well turned-out; they connived with the family at providing extras. The boat was great, as were the food and drink. An enlightening commentary and very comfortable cruise. Thank you.
A lovely afternoon treat

If you love a good afternoon tea, full of sandwiches, cakes and scones then this is for you, with the addition of travelling in a boat along the Thames. The staff were friendly and helpful and the tour guide was very good and funny. The option of having a window seat would have been more ideal.
The only thing that let it down was the organisation at the top of Tower Millenium Pier. We arrived early and kept getting told to return at 3pm. By the time we returned, a queue had already formed and we were near the back. Other than this, it was an enjoyable experience.

What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon?

In the company of two friends, my wife and I took an Afternoon Tea Cruise down the Thames with City Cruises. Boarding was handled very efficiently and the staff were friendly and helpful. We couldn't fault the tea, a selection of sandwiches, mini-cakes and scones with jam and cream. We could, perhaps, have done with a little more jam and cream between the four of us, but it didn't spoil the meal. There was a plentiful supply of tea and coffee and a lively commentary about the sights along the river was provided. Many thanks to all concerned.

Lovely afternoon eating fresh sandwiches, scones and mini cakes with as much tea or coffee as you could drink but we decided to purchase a bottle of bubbly at a very reasonable price instead. Service was excellent and staff friendly. We spent our final half hour on the top deck in the sunshine listening to the Captains amusing banter.
worth the money, enjoyable experience.

I brought this as a present for fathers day, my parents had a great time, they loved the whole experience. Afternoon tea was part of the package which they really enjoyed. They both said they would recommend this trip to others.

This was a treat for my birthday and it was lovely. Good food, good company (3 old friends) and beautiful views of London where I used to live. I would recommend it.
